Self‑Service Printing

IQS offers a self-service printing and copying facility for students, academic staff and administrative staff at the Campus. This service allows you to scan, photocopy and send documents for printing from any type of device, whether Windows, Android, macOS or iOS.

Set up your device by following the instructions on the Virtual Campus (authentication required).

University ID card URL

All members of the university community can access the IQS Library with a valid Universitat Ramon Llull ID card, which is personal and non-transferable.

This card is essential for:

• Identifying yourself as a member of the URL, both on and off campus.
• Using the lending service at university libraries in Catalonia that are part of the CSUC network.
• Accessing benefits and discounts across a wide range of cultural and commercial services.

How do I get a Ramon Llull University ID card?

It’s very simple: download the AppURL and log in using your institutional email address and password. For further information, please see the details on the University Smart Card (TUI) service.

Open Science

Open Science represents a paradigm shift in how scientific research is conduced and disseminated, with the aim of making that research as accessible as possible to society. It is present in all phases of the research process: from project applications and research development to the publication and dissemination of results.

The Institutional repository DAU helps ensure that IQS research outputs are properly maintained and updated, providing open access to the content and guaranteeing its long‑term preservation within the institutional infrastructure of Universitat Ramon Llull.

What we offer at IQS Library

• Deposit of the accepted manuscript (postprint) or published version of articles, book chapters, and books in the Institutional repository  DAU to promote open access to these publications and compliance with funding requirements.
• Deposit of contributions submitted in evaluation processes such as the AQU’s Mèrits de Recerca.

If you cannot find what you need among the IQS collection, expand your search and submit a request: you will receive the document by email within approximately 24 hours.

Researcher Identifiers and Profiles

Nowadays, it is essential to have Researcher Identifiers and Profiles that allow authorship to be unequivocally attributed and linked to the corresponding scientific output. These tools help increase visibility, streamline publication management, and improve the collection of metrics.

• Guidance on creating and maintaining your ORCID researcher profile, mandatory in MERIT, the DAU institutional repository, and the Catalonia Research Portal
• Support in reviewing and updating your identifiers in Web of Science (Researcher ID) and Scopus (Author Identifier), both of which are useful for managing and importing publications into MERIT
• Guidelines for standardizing your scholarly signature (first name, last name, affiliation, and variations) to improve the consistency and discoverability of your publications
