Functionalized mesoporous silica nanoparticles with 2,7,12,17-tetraphenylporphycene

Abstract

Mesoporous silica nanoparticles decorated with 2,7,12,17-tetraphenylporphycene have been prepared by reaction of aminated nanoparticles with 9-(glutaric NN-succinimidylesteramide)-2,7,12,17-tetraphenylporphycene. The as-prepared nanoparticles were characterized by UV-vis spectroscopy, DLS and TEM.
