Análisis, simulación y diseño de una fuente de tensión conmutada (DIMMER)

Abstract

The aim of this project is to design a switched voltage source (DIMMER), that allows to regulate the power of a charge.
To do so, firstly, an initial design is presented from a theoretical point of view. Then, simulations are used to analyse responses obtained, using Matlab®/Simulink®.
Secondly, the functioning of the real components is studied in an initial experimental phase, using test boards (protoboards). A signal generator and an oscilloscope are utilized to study the deviations from the theoretical modelling. This allows to narrow down several character-istic parameters of the system.
Lastly, the printed circuit board (PCB) is ordered, the different components are welded, and its functioning is verified by means of a load test, connecting the PCB to a PLC.
