Abstract

There is no doubt about the need to take sustainable action immediately to combat climate change. Drink Green is a proposal to change the supply chain and the consumption of water and soda. Broadly speaking, the idea is to offer consumers high-quality drinks without having to purchase any defined volume by using spare bottles.
The addressable market will be, at least for the first 5 years, Catalonia. The company's proposal is to enter one of the largest markets in the world. Therefore, it is important to be prudent and humble, the expected market share will be less than 1% for the first 4 years.
Market analysis has shown that investing in green technologies is a safe bet as there is a growing interest. Legislation and laws encourage companies to move to a greener system.
The aim of the company is not only to make a profit from the activity but also to encourage and guarantee good practices and a commitment to the environment.
There is a great need on the part of the company to partner or get winning contracts with bottlers and soft drink distributors. The renewal of the supply chain causes the lack of need to pack the drinks in cans or small bottles, saving money and time to the consumer and producers.
The company's strategy is to enter the market at a lower price, assuming the risk involved. The strategy chosen is because the competition in the market is fierce and to change the real dynamics it is crucial to be attractive to the consumer.
The company's costs and revenues are based on a five-year forecast. In addition, it is assumed that consumers will mostly be the same during the different months of the year.
In terms of financial aspects, an investment of € 300,000 (Personal Investment + Rounds of Financing) will be required to start the company. In addition, over the next few years, net income will be used to reinvest in order to scale the business.
