Abstract

This study has the objective of the construction of a pyrolysis system for solids and the subsequent study of the behavior of the obtained substances treated when carrying out the process. The two different types of raw materials used are tire granules and almond husks as source of biomass. These tests have been carried out under the same operating conditions but varying the percentage of the mixture in the reactor. Based on the results of the chromatographic analysis, it has been possible to verify that there are behavioral synergies between the two substances when the mixture is close to 50%, obtaining quantities of products (especially H2) greater than expected.
