Abstract It is undeniable that the growth in the use of low-emission transport is being capital, in many cases also subsidized by national governments that intend to comply with the quotas for reducing carbon dioxide emissions, signed in the Paris agreement. In addition, there is a clear social trend, driven by the social awareness and the problem of traffic or parking in large cities that leads the population to prioritize public transport or others such as bicycles and scooters, compared to more conventional private vehicles, such as the car. So that, We believe that it is a good time to cover the need for a transport that allow speed, comfort and ease of parking. For this, we propose a service rental of electric scooters in Barcelona, a city where this service is not yet has been exploited and where social culture and product knowledge make us presage that it may be a great opportunity to cover a need in a way different from the existing ones. |
