Abstract

Have you ever wondered why you don't participate in more solidarity projects? with friend.ly we provide you with the solution. friend.ly is an online platform with two channels (website and app) that easily connects people with solidarity projects through a highly personalized profile.
The user can filter the projects according to the availability of their resources. Each volunteer will be rewarded with points, coupons, discounts and merchandising based on their participation and effort in each solidarity project.
Our platform will offer volunteer programs not only locally but also nationally and therefore, at the international level. We have created a comprehensive plan to offer this experience to our users. Part of this progress is that we will have to convince various NGOs and other volunteers to participate in programs that, by publishing their solidarity projects on our platform, will increase their number of volunteers and will be more motivated by the rewards program.
To provide a better service, friend.ly will initially be limited and focused only on Spain and the autonomous region of Catalonia. We believe that it is a large market to begin with, with some 7.6 million people, of which 510,000 are volunteers in any type of solidarity project. We anticipate that, in the first year, 5% of the market segment will use our application and, in the second and third years, 20% and 40% respectively.
The development of this project will require an initial investment of € 50,000 from both the partners and a bank loan of € 20,000. This amount will be used to pay for the application and development of the website as well as other initial investments such as computers. On the other hand, the main sources of income will be marketing and sponsorship, and to a lesser extent, grants and donations. Marketing revenue will be divided into digital marketing which will be measured based on clicks per ad, other ads on our platform, and merchandise sales. As a sponsorship, we will have companies that give consumer coupons and discounts that will be used as a reward.
