Abstract

This thesis paper discusses the international marketing plan for Proppos, the Barcelona-based start-up company which offers innovative food scanning and checkout solutions for limited-service restaurants, self-service cafeterias, retailers, etc. Specifically, the company offers the AI-enhanced food scanning machine named FastPay, and related point-of-sales solutions and back-office services to support the management and productivity of their clients.
The main values that Proppos intends to deliver for their clients are, reduction of operational costs, point-of-sales integration, and digitalization, visualization of data, optimization of productivity, and customer (end-user) satisfaction.
Proppos is still at the early stage of business development, and they operated mainly in Spain, as well as a few other regions in Europe recently. And they are planning to expand their business further across Europe. Thus, this paper is going to present extensive analyses of the next potential markets to enter and the marketing plan for France, the chosen destination.
