Abstract In this paper I have proposed to analyze what are the benefits of creatine supplementation in the fitness world. First, the differences between physical activity, physical exercise and sport and what changes occur at the physiological level in response to physical exercise are presented. Then a classification and explanation of the most important sports supplements (group A and B) is made. Secondly, all the information related to the creatine molecule is presented, followed by a discussion on its supplementation. Finally, a review of studies is made in which the effects of creatine supplementation are analyzed specifically in the gym environment. |
