Abstract In this project it has been worked with a system of four continuously stirred reactors in order to optimize the monitoring of a reaction by measuring conductivity at the inlet and outlet of each of the reactors and measuring the temperature in each of them. Taking advantage of the conductivity sensor’s design developed in a previous final grade work, it has been studied the effect of two design variables such as the length of the electrodes and the separation between them to optimize the design and adapt it to the available space. Regarding the temperature measure, one of the most widely used temperature sensors in the industry, the Pt-100, has been used. |
