Reducción de consumos en buques metaneros mediante análisis de datos

Maritime transport plays a key role in the maritime and energy sector. Currently, this freight transports 90% of the loads worldwide. Despite being a sector so used today, it is a sector that lacks a lot of work in terms of digitization and automation of processes, in some companies more than in others. Taking into consideration the large costs associated with this transport and the emissions generated every day, it is considered necessary to reduce both factors in order to be more efficient.
The aim of this project is to find different patterns in the data of the operations of vessels that transport liquified natural gas, through data analysis, in order to make decisions based on real values that allow optimizing processes.
During the project, maritime transport is briefly explained, including the types of vessels engaged in these operations and the costs arising from them. Later, the data and the results of the analyses that have been performed are explained in more detail. Finally, possible future work that address the problems encountered in carrying out this project are detailed.
