Abstract

This project consists in the creation of an application to be used in the academic field, which allows students to work with a dynamic resource.
The designed platform simulates an industrial process that allows the user to choose the conditions in which it will be produced, as well as the desired values of the final product. The program has a screen with different control charts to allow the user to analyze the production process.
To create this simulator, a specific industrial process (extrusion of silicone tubes) has been chosen and it has been studied with the aim of carrying out its modeling to generate data in sequence. At the same time to the modeling of the industrial process, the interface has been designed and programmed to allow the user to carry out the tasks described in a dynamic and easy-to-use environment. Finally, the data generated by the simulator has been analyzed to define the control parameters and carry out the representation of the data in control charts.
The results obtained after carrying out the project have been the variables of the industrial process, as well as the qualitative and quantitative modeling of it. The qualitative validation has been done by consulting a group of experts and the quantitative by means of graphics. On the other hand, the application has been developed. The correct operation of it has been validated by checking that the interface components act as expected, and by validating the behavior of the variables to verify that the process works under control under certain conditions.
