Abstract

We present the business plan of a company dedicated to the extraction of mineral resources (more precisely, calcium sulfate) and its transformation. The minerals market is a mature sector in the most diverse applications that can be included (such as construction). In others, as in the case of polymers/biopolymers, the necessary knowledge to appear with our product has not yet been discovered. It may seem like an inconvenience or a barrier to access, but it is a challenge to overcome and succeed in a highly competitive market. With the first tests carried out, our product can compete perfectly in some sectors where it has never been due to the lack of this existing product with essential properties (such as high purity) and know-how. We can consider this company a "first mover" with calcium sulfate in many markets. This will be achieved through long-lasting B2B relationships with companies where their products will be enhanced in many ways with Toro Gips products. In the short term, Europe is the main market with some contracts already made with companies in the value chain (developers, composters, converters, etc.).The main objective of this company is to be the world benchmark for solutions based on high-quality natural calcium sulfate in all sectors (first in Europe and then worldwide). Since one of Toro Gips' products is currently in operation, we will focus on the industries with which we can already compete.
The company is still very new (created 3 years ago), created by two economists who now have the position of CEO and CCO in the company. It is made up of the best team of professionals in the sector in each related field. In this short time, the company has achieved many milestones, such as investors, certificates, contracts with other companies, and has created technical knowledge.
It is a promising company considering the product it deals with, the different markets it can cover, and what it has achieved so far.
