Computer vision applied to cycling lane detection

Abstract

The objective of this project is to implement a lane detection system in a personal mobility vehicle (for example, an electric scooter) applying basic computer vision concepts and techniques. The "new mobility" requires solutions that can provide security for users and those around them. Lane detection systems are one of the characteristics that are considered necessary for the development and improvement of systems that already exist in autonomous cars (ADAS), but that could also be implemented in personal mobility vehicles.
