Abstract

Hydrogen cyanide (HCN) is an essential chemical that is used in a variety of ways, such as spraying, electroplating, and mining. The important thing is that it serves as a fundamental element for construction, the production of synthetic fibers, plastics, dyes and pesticides; most of the world's industries rely heavily on this compound (NIOSH 2011). Conventional synthetic routes to produce HCN have not been adapted to the world's progressive perspective on a more environmentally friendly development business processes, and others, aligned with Sustainable Development Goals 9, 12 and 13 (UN 2019), @ Nspire has identified an opportunity to also use innovative design strategies and state-of-the-art technology in the environmentally friendly manufacturing of this chemical.
