Abstract
The appearance of the coronavirus has changed our lives in recent months. To control its spread, measures have been applied that have caused the closure of a large number of establishments, including sports centers. This, in Spain, has caused a 22% increase in the practice of sport from home. Cycle To Be arises from the consumer's need to train with directed classes and personalized follow-up from home.
A business plan will be developed under the name Cycle To Be, which will consist mainly of the sale of a spinning bike, which will have a built-in Bluetooth screen and software created by the company itself. Cycle To Be offers a monthly subscription to live or deferred classes where you can follow the different workouts on the platform, which incorporates personalized user monitoring thanks to the data collected by the software itself.
Both the equipment and the Cycle To Be monthly subscription are purchased online on the web platform. The competitive advantage of our company is the innovative software it offers, as well as the value for money of the products and services offered.
Initially, Cycle To Be will offer its products and services at a national level, although if the results are positive, expanding the market internationally will be studied.
The product design will be done by Cycle To Be, but manufactured by Panatta, a company based in the manufacture of gym equipment including spinning bikes. The screen that will be incorporated into the equipment will be manufactured by Samsung, which will include bluetooth and the Cycle To Be software.
The company has a warehouse for both the national distribution of the finished product and for the final assembly of the parts (equipment and screen) and the printing of the logo. In short, Cycle To Be is in charge of the design, assembly and distribution of the product.
Cycle To Be's business model is expected to be successful with positive results from the third year since the start of the company. In this work, it has been studied and analyzed if Cycle To Be really is a business idea that is profitable to develop in the future.
