Abstract

The scope of this Master’s Degree Project is to design the basic configuration of a hybrid wind and photovoltaic system in order to reduce the greenhouse gasses emissions to the atmosphere from the ships berthed in the Port of Barcelona. Therefore, the intention is to design a cold-ironing system with renewable energies for the Port of Barcelona and develop an economic analysis for the selected solution.
