Abstract

Aluminium and its alloys are one of the most widely used materials today, mainly due to two of its properties: its low density and its excellent resistance to corrosion. These characteristics have prompted its use in applications where weight is a determining factor, such as in the transportation industry.
The purpose of this project is to analyse how the properties of different aluminium alloys fluctuate when they are heat treated. The properties of each material will be established through different scientific methodologies, whether tests on the universal traction machine, digital computer simulations, or hardness tests.
The purpose of the research is to understand in depth the behaviour of the different treatments in each alloy for its subsequent commissioning.
