Abstract
The present project aims to study the energy potential of the roofs of the IQS university buildings. For this purpose, different possibilities have been studied, including the study of a photovoltaic solar installation and the adaptation of roofs to green roofs.
First of all, the theoretical foundations composed by the operation of a photovoltaic solar installation, the composition of the green roofs and the current energy problem that exists worldwide are presented.
A solar study has also been carried out using the Revit software. Firstly, a 3D model of the entire university complex has been designed. Next, both the technical and economic aspects of the solar installation have been calculated.
Finally, the results obtained from the software are compared with the study carried out on the installation and conclusions are obtained.
