Abstract
This master's degree final project aims to highlight all the aspects to be taken into account when creating an online company for furniture made from recycled plastic.
First of all, we will study the business idea, the need to be covered, which, although it is a commodity product (chairs and tables), is not a daily purchase. Chairs and tables are always purchased throughout the idea, as they are a necessity.
The current environment, trends, legal requirements for materials and the environmentally friendly environment that humanity is tending towards, with developed countries at the forefront, have been analysed.
A market analysis has been carried out, who are the competitors and their products: in 2018 there were 2276 companies at national level with a turnover of 2.908.410.191€. We have sought to study those competitors that are of reference, in their products, in order to be able to situate the company that we want to create and its products.
A strategic plan, a marketing plan and an operations plan have been drawn up, defining objectives, resources, sales plans, distribution channels, investments, raw materials, production needs and resources, supplies, logistics, etc.
All of this provides elements for establishing objectives, plans, budgets and control elements to be able to follow and contrast the progress of the company and to be able to correct any deviations as necessary.
A very conservative three-year economic-financial plan has been drawn up, which means earning little, which is what happens in parallel if you decide to work as an employee, given that you first have to know how to position the company.
