Feasibility study on implementing the Internet of Things (IoT) into the FabLab

Abstract

This final degree project develops a real application of the Internet of Things technology. By using different sensors and an Arduino platform, data will be registered from the environment. Specifically, the project will try to monitor the FabLab of ICAM - Toulouse. Introducing this technology will permit to obtain real-time information of the use and state of the laboratory, which will help to develop further applications.
This project also looks at how the information obtained from the sensors can be sent to other platforms. The aim is to be able to process and store this information correctly.
