Abstract

There are currently a multitude of platforms and architectures that enable the automation of industrial processes and tasks based on data capture and processing. Knowledge of their capabilities enables technical managers to develop solutions that meet the needs of companies. This work forms part of one of the joint lines of work of the department of industrial engineering and quantitative methods for the automation of intelligent solutions. Specifically, this TFG focuses on studying the Arduino UNO R3 development platform to analyse its technical characteristics and interconnection possibilities through case studies with the future aim of designing intelligent industrial solutions.
