Abstract The present work is based on selecting, using economic and technical criteria, a cable that is capable of transmitting the energy generated from a marine wind farm (offshore in English), located about 15 km off the coast of Cádiz (Spain). The location of this park was studied and selected in a previous study carried out in IQS2. The cables and their section are calculated for a given turbine distribution. With the intention of obtaining an order of magnitude of the cost of the cable, an economic study of the installation is carried out. The previous requirement of the park is to produce 50 MW. |
