Abstract

DeliKit was born as a company that will offer home food kits with the right ingredients, in the right proportion, to cook meals for groups. DeliKit will always respect the quality of the products offered and will ensure a wide variety of menus based its recipes mainly on Mediterranean cuisine. With this, DeliKit aims to be a benchmark in the food sector and build a better food system. This progress will transform the way food is produced, distributed and consumed, benefiting not only consumers and producers but also the planet. A business plan has been drawn up to study the economic viability of the company.
First, a market study has been done to find out the situation of the sector, the competitors, the profile of the potential customer and the size of the market. Second, a marketing plan has been developed that includes information about the product offered, pricing strategy, distribution channel, and promotion pathways. In addition, a study of the factors influencing sales has been carried out and a sales forecast for the first years has been estimated. Other issues such as production operations, legal aspects of society and the organization of human resources were then discussed.
Finally, an economic-financial analysis of the first three years of the project life cycle has been carried out. Therefore, the forecast of the income statement, treasury and balance sheet has been prepared to study the financial viability of DeliKit.
