Abstract In this project, several studies are carried out on the mechanical properties of ceramic coatings made of DLC, TiN or CrN. The mechanical properties studied in this project are the hardness and the indentation modulus. Most of the studies carried out have been carried out with a microindenter, using a Vickers indenter and a Berkovich indenter. These studies include the comparison between the use of two indenters with different geometries, the comparison of two different types of indentation modes, and the comparison of two different indentation magnitudes. |
