Abstract In this Project, standard times of fabrication and packing of all variety of products manufactured in Jallut are determined by using the direct timing method. For this purpose, times required by each basic operation performed by the production operator and machines were measured so that the total standard time required by any of the products could be known with certainty. This was made possible based on the manufacturing or packing path each product is associated with. The standard times already mentioned were computed thanks to a lineal model that was obtained which takes as input a diversion of parameters pertaining to each individual painting product, the number of kilos to be produced and the number of packages needed. Finally, all these time results should serve as the main foundation for planning, efficiency assessment and products’ cost linked to Jallut. |
