Abstract Cancer is a well-known problem worldwide and, although important advances have been made, it seems that we are still far from eradicating this disease. Currently, immunotherapies are becoming the standard treatment for many types of tumors, although their efficacy is still limited, specifically for cancers affecting internal organs. With the emergence of new technologies, nanosystems, especially nanoparticles, have gained ground in the healthcare sector. One of their uses is the application of therapeutic vaccines, but today these new treatments have certain limitations. |
