Abstract

This study provides an analysis from the key perspectives of an industrial company's operating model to explain why sales have been falling year after year in one particular business line, while in the other ones, the company is always at the forefront as market leader.
In addition, a TO BE model of this business unit is developed to adapt, both the operations and the organization of different departments, to the quality levels expected from a recognized brand in its sector.
Finally, the implementation roadmap is described including all the necessary measures and support tools required for the optimal operation of the unit. The detailed cost and investment analysis of the entire project is also attached, as well as the tangible and intangible benefits of the TO BE model.
