Abstract
BeBoats is the holiday solution for lovers of the Mediterranean Sea, boats and especially the waters of the islands of Ibiza and Formentera. The project mainly consists of the creation of a website through which customers will be able to rent quality boats previously verified by our team, so that customers can rent safely and transparently.
This web platform aims to integrate into the nautical charter sector, private boat owners who want to make a profit while not using their boat, and also owners of small or large charter fleets who fail to fill up with their resources. the days of the season, focusing on getting customers especially in low and medium season for the latter type of customer, as usually in high season they already have the expected demand.Our sector of action will be 100% concentrated in the islands of Ibiza and Formentera, as they accumulate most of the nautical charter of Spain so we believe that it is the ideal place to launch our project. Also, being focused on only one geographical demarcation, we will be able to offer a more professional and close treatment to the customer, while we will have a greater knowledge of our fleet, as we will be able to verify "location" each boat. benefit from the knowledge of each boat by our team, as there will be no information that we do not know, which will facilitate the sale and customer loyalty, thus creating a portfolio of repeat customers who trust us and do not have to search other alternatives. The same goes for the private boat owner who previously saw a pile of bills to pay during the summer season for a 15-day use of the boat. Thanks to this rental system, these owners will be able to make the most of their boat during the summer days and will see these bills reduced as they will be able to cover the maintenance costs of their boat with the profits from the rental.
And finally, in the case of owners of small or large charter fleets, we will be the indispensable tool to raise the% of occupancy during the summer season. Based on the financial economic plan, profits will begin to be obtained in the first year due to the “little” initial investment of the project in acting in such a concentrated local area. For the years “year 1”, “year 2” and “year 3”, benefits of € 190,033.57, € 276,785.80 and € 383,524.90 are expected, respectively.
