Abstract Today it is very common to work or study in a digitized environment. It is obvious that the world is moving towards an increasingly digital society for all the benefits it offers its users. However, some traditional practices are still used, such as handwriting. Many people say that having to take notes quickly, they prefer to do it by hand, as it gives them the freedom to organize words on paper and create diagrams or figures at a time. It is very common in the case of students attending a conference, or people working in an office to take all the notes by hand, and then write them all down on their computers so that they can organize everything they need in a more comfortable way. documents. This process may seem simple, but it can be a waste of time, which could be invested in any other activity. The format of physical documents is still very common in the library field and even in hospitals. Therefore, we detect a need to cover: the ability to digitize handwritten notes or forms, as well as books, in a shorter period of time than is currently needed. Our product is aimed primarily at people who are studying (college or high school), working in an office or health care staff. When working in the environments described, people may need to copy handwritten notes or digitize paper forms onto a computer, which is a waste of time. Another possible area of application is police stations or courts, to digitize complaints or other documents. The digital pen allows the user to capture handwritten, typed, or digitally drawn data along with various devices, such as smartphones, tablets, or computers. The device works like a highlighter, scanning any document in real time. It can also be used to learn another language, as it has the ability to translate the text you are scanning in real time, copy it into a text editor, and even read it aloud into the built-in speaker. Our digital pen is an evolution of all current offerings, focused on meeting the diverse needs of those who are learning a language, have a disability, or have to deal with a lot of paperwork or forms. |
