Abstract Sustainability, (social, economic and environmental), implies the effort of the public institutions of the countries as a whole, but there is also work behind all the private companies that directly or indirectly have an impact on society and the environment. environment. This study explores the degree of knowledge, motivations, involvement and acceptance in proposed initiatives (the use of biodegradable bags, LED technology or products processed with the environment). The information of the study was received from the completion of an online survey sent to 96 pharmacy offices. The results indicated a predisposition to carry out actions within the social dimension with respect to the other dimensions. Also, one of the main obstacles to implementing measures is lack of time. On the other hand, it is observed that pharmacy offices consider themselves to be sustainable, specifically highlighting the social aspects. However, if we take into account the current application of proposed initiatives (biodegradable bags, LED technology, specific products with the environment) a low application rate is observed. |
