Simulación de impactos a flexión en estructuras de ABS fabricadas por FDM

Currently, additive manufacturing or better known as 3D printing has experienced outstanding growth in the industry due to the spped, precision, customization and savings that it allows the user/company. This project is based on the analysis of bending impacts for different structures manufactured using 3D printing. There is great variability of tests that can be carried out due to the different materials, thicknesses, printers and parameters that are used during the manufacturing process. With the help of the software provided by ESI Groups S.L., and especially the PamCrash tool, it has been possible to simulate bending impacts for three different kind of structures. In this way, it has been possible to make a correlation of the experimental results to later be able to anticipate the behavior that new structures will experience.
