Surface modification of a Carbon fibre mat substrate to obtain a Fe-N-C catalyst

Author

Oliveras Rodríguez, Miquel

Carbon is one of the candidates for the substitution of the precious metals in catalytic applications. Carbon has been widely studied among the scientific community. Despite the great interest in developing new catalyst graphite-based materials, there is still unknown on the carbon catalytic effect and how it is affected by different modification processes.
The present work, studies the improvement of the graphite fibre mat catalytic activity with its surface modification towards the hydrogen peroxide sensing and the oxygen reduction reaction.
