Abstract

This work is made up of two parts. The first part consists of a review on bone regeneration where bone and its physiology, its mechanical properties, dynamics and the most used regeneration techniques are explained in detail. To apply this knowledge, we want to make a porous polycaprolactone scaffold, through a 3D printer for SLS, which allows optimal cell proliferation, with the aim of applying it in vivo in the future. The second part of this work consists of the experimental part, where it is intended to optimize the impression of the scaffold, characterizing the material. Furthermore, it is intended to verify the biocompatibility and toxicity of the porous scaffold.
