Comparación de las características farmacotécnicas de una emulsión W/O frente a una forma gelificada de ibuprofeno

Abstract

This work begins by talking about the main characteristics and characterization forms of emulsions and gels. After making a brief description of ibuprofen (active ingredient), several formulations with this active ingredient in both emulsion and gel form are considered. The characteristics of the excipients mentioned in the previous formulations (pH regulators, preservatives, surfactants ...) are also specified. Finally, some examples of commercial medicines in the form of gel and emulsion with ibuprofen as an active ingredient are detailed.
