Abstract
Our business idea grew out of a shared passion: making cookies. We believe that industrial cookies are losing the essence of traditional cookies, and we want to change this trend. In bichos we will make handmade cookies, without additives and with ecological ingredients, packed in boxes made with materials that do not have an environmental impact. There will be four flavors: butter, chocolate chips, lemon and vegan chocolate chips, and the boxes will be 6 or 24 units. We will make the cookies with the help of a "baker" in a place that we will rent.
Our clients will be people who, like us, value taking care of their health and that of their surroundings and care about the environment. By having a vegan option, we will include all those potential customers who do not consume animal products. If we started by selling to individuals, it would be very difficult to reach the expected sales level. That is why we have decided to start by selling our cookies to companies or hotels in Barcelona. They could offer them at events or on a daily, weekly or monthly basis for their guests or employees. In the future it could be expanded to more personal events, "markets" or sales to individuals.
The hotels or companies that could be interested in our cookies are those with values similar to ours (for example, "green hotels") or those that want to convey an image of concern for health and the environment. We are aware that it will be difficult to get our cookies known and make a place for ourselves in a market with so much competition, but we are convinced that we can do so by investing in digital marketing and emphasizing our values.
Our goal is to sell over a million cookies in the first three years. For this, we will need a share capital of € 75,000, which would allow us, according to our forecasts, to start earning money from the third year. We believe that it is an ambitious project but one that could become a reality with a lot of work, desire and passion.
