Abstract

The project proposes the replacement of a discontinued controller of a didactic model, which is located in the laboratory of the pilot plant of the IQS School of Engineering. To replace it, the implementation of a PLC and an HMI touch screen has been proposed.
In order to carry out this update, it is necessary to study the dynamic behavior of the didactic model through its modeling, to later design a PID controller. It analyzes through simulations using Matlab and Simulink applications.
Finally, the detailed electrical drawings and a source code proposal for the PLC and HMI, necessary to make the didactic model operational, are also made.
