Abstract The study carried out in this project consisted of analyzing how the application of heat treatments affects in the mechanical properties’ behavior of aluminum alloys. To do so, a series of aluminum alloys were subjected to heat treatments and then stretched by universal tensile tests. Consequently, it has been possible to determine the variation in the properties of the alloy when heat is applied. The aim of this project is to reflect the magnitude in which these properties have improved or worsened. |
