Abstract
“Establishment where gasoline is sold.” RAE. It has traditionally been a point of sale for fuel and lubricants for motor vehicles. Currently, service stations can offer many other complementary services, which have to do with the needs of vehicles and people. The need we want to cover is to provide Low Cost fuel, one located in the center of Barcelona and another on a highway, since most are located on the outskirts of the city or simply not found in the center.
The idea is to make a fast, reliable gas station, which will also implement renewable energies, since people in the center usually go with just the right amount of time, that is why we will also implement self-service so that if it is ever saturated the person can serve himself. , pay and leave faster, making the payment through the app or through Contactless.
It would also cover the need to provide fuel and create rest areas for truckers, carriers and people who work as delivery men/commercials, since they usually spend many hours on the road. Obviously at these road and city points we would also provide coverage to charge the electric car. Our users and clients would be people who have a low cost car, motorcycle or any other vehicle powered by diesel, gasoline or electric. Truckers, carriers and commercials, who spend many hours on the road and want to rest and/or supply much cheaper, would be the most benefited. Also the electric car that needs to recharge the battery or to make extra kilometers or simply to rest.
We will offer the option that vehicles with tanks larger than normal (more than 250 liters) have special prices and more offers than the rest, so that they consume and refuel, transmitting an image of quality and price.
To all this, we set up payment and rest areas for showers together with services for truckers and carriers who come to our service areas on the highway. (only at the Autovía gas station). In terms of our revenue model, we want to make money basically from retailing fuel and also store products. Regarding the charging of electric cars, we all know that Spain does not make the really necessary investment in renewable energies and, therefore, this also translates into fewer charging points, and less aid for it. That is why we also want to accommodate all those people who have chosen to buy an electric car, since they are perhaps not really prepared for long trips either, we will equip our areas with extra fast chargers to be able to continue the trip as soon as possible.
The gas station in the center of Barcelona will have easy access and will be in an area of maximum affluence to make us known and offer the service to many more people. It will have a small shop where items and snacks can be sold. It will be supervised by a person who, while not attending the store, will be able to help provide gasoline and will also charge in person for speeding up the process for the customer. This station will also have self-service machines to be able to accommodate more customers, where they will select the fuel and through Teletac, Contactless, customer card or cash can be paid quickly. When our customers have to recharge the car, they will also have an area to do so with several charging points.Truck drivers can opt for a fast and efficient service, and on the other hand rest in our service area, to eat, shower or carry out any repair. The large transport companies will have a customer VIP card in which the total invoices will be paid at the end of the month to facilitate the work of the trucker/transporter. The car user will be able to supply supplies at a good price and rest in our area. (Only at the highway station)
At road points, the electric recharging area will be extra fast to delay the waiting time as little as possible so that our client can resume driving as quickly as possible, these would be interesting clients since while the car is recharging it would consume products from our station. Likewise, the value proposition would be to offer an innovation often seen in Catalonia and Spain, rarely really experienced in the center of Barcelona, since the average price would never exceed €1.2/litre for gasoline and diesel.
In service areas on the highway, as we have said before, we will implement a rest area, a shower area and a small supermarket in the store, which would offer services such as tools, food or parapharmacy.
