Abstract The aim of the present paper is developing the design of an H-shape Darrieus turbine rotor as well as offering an insight into this type of device. The calculations have been developed after the Multiple-Streamtube Model, that has been adapted and developed with Matlab. The computing has been carried out for a low power turbine with the wing profile NACA0021. The design parameters of the appliance have been optimized in order to obtain the best performance. |
