Abstract

Our business idea to prepare the final degree project is based on a real project that consists of converting a farm that no longer has economic viability into a business that is capable of generating profits.
The property in question, currently called “La Fleca Vella”, is located on the Camino de la Vinyola, a road that goes from Puigcerdà, the capital and the most important urban center of Cerdanya, to Latour de Carol, France.
Currently, La Fleca Vella is a farm that dedicates its agricultural activity to the wholesale sale of milk and the raising of cows. The farm has approximately 30 hectares, where we find a magnificent architectural ensemble, formed by a main building that has a total of 2,000 m², more spaces for paintings and barns, in which the productive activity of the farm is currently carried out. , which has a total of 4,000 m².
As analysts of the project, we have proposed and studied various alternatives that were capable of converting a business that is currently sustained solely thanks to state subsidies, into a project that is capable of offering income to the owners of the farm.
That said, the solution proposed and on which our business plan is based is to convert the main building of the estate into an extraordinary complex made up of 7 catering establishments dedicated to rental.
The establishments located in Mas Cerdanya will have exceptional characteristics such as a good location, easy accessibility, terraces and outdoor spaces, a parking area, an events room and a magnificent marked route that surrounds the estate.
In addition, the complex's management will carry out joint advertising, social media management and brand image creation. Musical and entertainment events will also be organized. Which will clearly mean a great added value and a competitive advantage for the restaurants of our tenants.
Finally, mention that the completion of the project will allow the farm to continue carrying out its current agricultural activity. This allows the fields of the farm to be cared for, to take advantage of the facilities and the investment in milk extraction machinery.
